Mike  Corbott

Mike  Corbott  was the first officer of Terra Venture. He wasn't happy that his younger brother tried to be a stowaway on the coloney. He always worried about  Leo because he was always doing crazy things. Mike ordered Leo to stay with Kai while he and Kendrix journeyed through a votex to help Maya's village. Leo of course tagged along, much to Mike's annoyance. Mike pulled a Quasar Saber while battling Furio. Furio opened a crevice under Mike. Leo was unable to save his brother as he fell into the crevice. Before the fall Mike gave his saber to Leo, telling him to take his place and that he was proud of him. Later Furio had a monster pretend to be Mike but it was just part of a plot to find the Lights of Orion. Megna Defender apeared to fight like Mike but was clearly someone else. Mike's consciounce seemed to be present in the Defender as he tried to get revenge for the death of his son. It was later revealed that the defender saved Mike when he fell from the crevice. The Defender used Mike's life force to escape the crevice and exact his revenge. When Megna Defender sacrificed himself to save the colony he set Mike free from himself. Leo tried to give Mike  his saber back while the two were trying to save their friends from a monster. Mike refused, telling Leo it was his distiney to be a Ranger. The spirit of the Megna Defender gave his powers to Mike. Mike became the new Megna Defender and used his powers to help the Rangers in battle. He also was able to reclaim his postion as first in command of Terra Venture. Mike led a rescue mission to a strange ship ( he brought Leo along). No one was found alive but the Galaxy Book was attained. Mike was sad to see Kendrix die but welcomed Karone to the team. When the Rangers were stuck in the Lost Galaxy Mike tried to develop a plan to save Captain Mutiney's slaves. Mike went undercover and befriended a woman who was one of the slaves. Mike used his powers to help the Rangers rescue the slaves and escaped the Lost Galaxy. Mike lost his powers in the process. He was there when the Rangers returned their sabers to the stone on Miranoi.
