Zhane was the Silver Ranger. Two years before Andros teamed up with the Turbo Rangers Zhane was injured when KO 35 was invaded by Dark Spector's Forces. Andros was Zhane's best friend. Zhane was injured saving him. Andros put Zhane in a chrogenic machine that was designed to heal his injuries. When the Space Rangers were attacked on a planet by hostile aliens, Zhane's machine was rendered useless. Zhane emerged from his long sleep fully healed. He was able to heal the Rangers and to defeat the hostile Aliens. Andros was happy to have his best friend back and caught him up on everything he missed while he was assleep. Zhane remained to help the Space Rangers in their quest to find Zordon. He got himself in hot water with Andros, when he started spending time with Ashley. Later Andros realized he was being a fool and apoligized to Zhane. Zhane had power troublre early on. He had Alpha secretly help him with his problem. The other Rangers thought he was dieing and gave him special treatment. Zhane was able to fix his problem by having lightning strike his morpher. The other Rangers made him do chores for letting them think he was dieing. Zhane fell in love with Astronoma. She dumped him when he was late for their first date, still the two carried on feelings for each other. Zhane ended up staying with the KO 35 Rebels. He later returned to help the Rangers against the Phsyco Rangers ( equiped with the Mega Winger). Zhane helped the Rangers in the final battle against Astronoma's forces.
