Power Rangers Dino Thunder is the 12th season of the Power Ranger's franchise. Each year the show goes through a remarkable change. At the end of the privous season the rangers defeat their eniemies and their story wraps up. Than when the new season started a new group of characters are created and our given completely new powers. They also face a compeletly different villian. This keeps the show fresh and allows for great story telling to take place. It is very similar to the way Toei's Sentai does it as well.
Like the last five or six Ranger seasons DinoThunder has done the same. DT started with three rangers. Their was a red, blue, and yellow ranger. We were soon treated to the addition of a black ranger ( further down the line a white ranger will be revealed). But perhaps one of the must intriging things about DinoThunder is the return of longtime favorite ranger, Tommy Oliver. Better know as the former Green Ranger. Tommey was a key ingrident to Power Rangers early sucess. So not only are we treated to a brand new story line and cast we also get to see the return of a beloved character. Tommy has jsut become the new black ranger in addtion to being a mentor to the new team.
