Lord Zedd was an evil warlord who terrorized the galaxy for Mellenia. At one piont he seemingly clashed with Zordon ( oover Earth). Lord Zedd eventually left his servant Rita Repulsa take charge of the fight against Zordon. He went t to darker regions of the galaxy rtia failed him too many times. Finally thiousands of years after he left her in charge of defeating Zordon. Lord Zedd returned thousands of years later. He quciky took command of the fight against the power rangers and cast Rita out into space for her failures( in an intergaltic dumpster). Lord Zedd at first posed a swerious threat to the rangers but they were quickly able to adapt. Lord Zedd soon found that defeating Zordon's Power Rangers was not as easy as he thought.
One of Zedds early motivations was to get the green ranger to use up all of his energy. Lord Zedd succeeded in doing so. Zedd soon had a new nemsis as Zordon created the white ranger powers to give to the former green ranger. Zedd continued to batltle the rangers. Rita Repulsa returned during Zedds 100 year nap. Rita gave Zed a love potion. When Zedd awoke he was helplessly in love with his former general and agreed to merry her. Even with the combined power of Zedd and Rita the rangers were still able to trimph.
At one piont Zedd and Rita were able to succced in destorying the rangers powers. The rangers were able to get new Ninja powers. Zedd and Rita continued to battle the rangers and even succeeded in destroying the Ninja Power Cions. Before they could battle the rangers further they were driven out by the Machine Empure
Zedd returned with his wife to destory the Machien Empire. After the rangers ( with their Zeo powers) had succeeding in humilatng the machine king Zedd and Rita sent them a bomb to them as a fake Gift. For some reason Zedd and his wife did not resume their conquest of earth. Zedd was again seen with his wife working for Dark Spector. In a final battel between good and evil Zedd was turned into a human by Zordon's energy wave ( along with Rita).
