Forever red is perhaps one of the most famous and unique power ranger episodes ever. It is the culmination or years of PR. Forever Red is a fan boys dream. Something that was though impossible till just a few years ago. It is a celebration pf Power Rangers 10 year anniversy ( the year of courss it obviously aired).
Forever Red unites all past red rangers from the show ( up to till that piont in the series, except Rocky Desantos). A notable addition to the speical is Eric, the quantim ranger from Time Force/ HE closey resembles a red ranger. These ten red rangers ar led by Tommy, probably the most famous red rangers of them all.
Tommy and Andros ( Red Space Rangers) have gatherd the team of ranegrs together to face the remnant of the machine empire. It seems Andros had been tracking these machine generals. He found them on the moon digging to find Zed's former Zord( Surpenterra). They planned to use it to destory the earth and avenge the death of their leader, King Mondo. This is why Tommy needed to reunite all the red rangers. They needed to stop the machines before it was too late. The red ranger used the new astro megaship mark 2 to go to the moon and battle the machine empire.
Forever Red is full of backstory, reunions, nods to the past, and cool action scenes. All this is clverly condensed into one half an hour epsidoe. The episode is full of subtext and is well crafted to stand on its own. To fully apreicate forever red you need to assume certain rangers that lost their powers somehow got them back. You can't read into little things like that or you'll ruin the episode for your self. Those little things aren't important. The only thing that is important is that you celebrate Power Rangers . This is a celebration of 10 years of PR not a place to vent about plot holes.
Forever Red is one of the best episodes of Power Ranegrs. It is very epic and is probably the last great teamup of this magnitude to ever occur again.
