Tommy Oliver has returned to his role as a  Power Ranger. In the years following turbo ( with Forever red in between) Oliver experimented with Anton Mercer to create creatures from dinosaur DNA. Dr. Mercer disappeared and a evil creature named Mesagog showed up. He captured and used  Tommy's experiments for evil. Tommy escaped from Mesagog and didn't see him for years after. Tommy became a high school science teacher.   Tommy had already constructed a secret base and had prepared for the day Mesagog would return. When Mesagog did return, he recruited three of his high school students to become Power Rangers. Tommy  became a role model for these kids. Mesagog captured Tommy in hopes that he could help him open a new power source  he had found. Luckily the DT rangers ( now knowing their mentor's true history as a Power Ranger) were able to save him. Oliver opened the new power source and received the black Dino gem. This gave him the power of invisibility and much more. Using a morpher made by a friend, Oliver was able to morph into the black ranger. Early on Oliver got into a rivalry with Zeltrax. At first Oliver didn't know why Zeltrax was so angry at him. Much later he found out that Zeltrax was his old rival Terrance Smith. Tommy operates the Brachio zord ( a carrier zord that can carry all the other zords). Oliver has helped the kids tame find many Dino eggs and given them additional zords and weaponery Reefside High's Principal Randal has tried to get close to the doctor. She is really Elsa in disguise and is trying to gain Dr. Oliver's trust in order to defeat him. When Olivier discovered Trent was the white Ranger, the evil Ranger was quick to freeze him in amber. The Rangers were able to free him but now Tommy is stuck in his morphed form.  Still he is able to assist the other DT ranger in the fight (till his demorphing problems are solved). Oliver quickly accepted Trent into the team when he became good again. He used his new charge to help unearth the Trassic Shield. Dr. Oliver was forced to finally destory his old friend Smitty in a clamactic battle.  Oliver used  strange goo in an attempt to demorph. The goo made him invisible instead. Later Oliver tried using his dino gem to restore himself to normal. This restored him to normal ( visible and demorpehd) but left him in coma.  In the coma Tommy fought three of his past Ranger forms ( green, white, and zeo). Once Tommy was victorious he awoke form his Coma and helped the Rangers agasinst Mesagog's latest monster. He also acchived his Super Dino Mode for the first time. Tommy was now able to resume his duties as  a teacher at Reefside High. Oliver was shocked to see Zeltrax return. He decieded he better search for him before anything bad happened. Tommy often pioleted the Mezadon Megazord when Conner was busy in another megazord. Oliver was shocked to learn that Randall was actually Elsa in disguise. He was also shocked to learn that Mesogog was Mercer's alter ego. What shocked him the most was that Trent knew about Mercer's true idenity the whole time. After listening to Trent and seeing him in battle Oliver was able to forgive the young Ranger. Oliver was shocked when Elsa was revealed to be a innocent civilian bended to Mesogog's will. Oliver introduced the team to the new Dino Asualt Vichule. He led the team on an assualt on Mesagog's Island. The team stopped Mesogog's plan to turn humans into Mutant Dinosuars. Oliver fought Zeltrax in his new ZelZord. After the zord was distoryed Oliver and Kria finished Zeltrax for good. In final battle against Mesogog Oliver surrenderd all his gems power to defeat the evil creature. Oliver enjoyed the Prom and was happy to continue teaching at Reefside for the time being.

Conner was a star soccer player who only cared about playing the game. He is the brother of Eric McKnight (a Ninja Student who flunked out of the Wind Ninja Academy).He was so good he never learned team work or what it really took to be a good leader. Deep down inside he has the potential to be a good leader. He found the tyrannosaurus Dinosaur Gem and was chosen to be the Dino Red Ranger. He was on a trip  to a museum as part of his detention with Oliver. He stumbled on the gems along with the other rangers. The gem gave him the power to stop time. He used the morpher that Dr. Oliver gave him to become the red dino ranger. He quickly bonded with the Tyrannosaurus Dino Zord. At first Conner felt that being a Ranger was getting in the way of his soccer dreams. Conner almost quit  being a Ranger but soon realized being a Ranger was far more important. Since then Conner has become a dedicated member of the team. Sometimes he has a tendency to say bonehead things or to act overly macho. This gets him into numerous playful arguments with the intelligent Ethan. But deep down Conner is an intelligent and caring individual. When the Rangers faced the evil White Ranger Conner was the one that was able to be most successful against him. Conner was the first Ranger to discover his super Dino mode. Conner was very hard on Trent when he went bad. When Trent jioned the team he was still distrust full of the White Ranger. Conner was soon given the Trassic Powers  he used them to become the Trassic Ranger. Along with his new powers came a  new zord, the Mezadon Rover.  Conner was happy when Dr. Oliver was restored to normal. Conenr meant a girl named Trista and admire her dedication to save a tree. When Christa was in captured by Zeltra Conner looked deep with himself to discover his battleizer. He used him to go into his megabattle mode and save Christa from Zeltrax. Conner used his new Trassic and Battlizer powers frequently. He was shocked to learn that Elsa and Principal Randal were one in the same. He was also shocked to learn Mercer was Mesogog and that Trent had lied to them He was most critical of Trent when the Rangers questioned him about his actions. Trent daved Conner in battle. After here Trent's side of the story Conner was willing to forgive Trent. He jioned the Rnagers in the new mobile assualt vichule when they attacked Mesogog's island. Mesogog's island was distoryed along with Mesogog's plan. Conner jioned the team to defeat Zeltrax's Zelzord. In one final battle against Mesogog Conner surrendered all his power to defeat the evil crerature. Conner went to the prom with Christa and prepared to return to a normal life.

Kira was a very strong and caring person. She was into rock music and played in her own band. She found the yellow Dino gem with a few of her classmates. The gem gave her the power to let out powerful blasts of energy with her voice Dr. Oliver gave her  a morpher that allowed her to become the yellow Dino Ranger. She bonded with the Ptera Dino Zord/ She was friends with the pop diva Kyley . The two had a band together before Kyley got famous. The two lost track of each other after that but were recently able to come to an understanding. Kira began to spend a lot of time with Trent. She definitely showed affection to him and seemed to really like him. Unfortunately Trent became the evil white ranger by a sad twist of fate. Kira was shocked when Trent revealed this to her. She realized Trent was under an evil influence and wanted to help him ( even when her teammates doubted Trent's sincerity). Unfortunately Trent has fully succumbed to the white Dino gem's evil power. Kira was able to access her super Dino mode ( giving her the ability to fly, among other things). Kira was taken over by an evil mind control monster that Oliver and Mercer created and later disabled ( when it got out of control). She helped the monster become operable again. Kira was freed from the monster's control and helped her friends destroy threat. Kira interned at a kids show. At first it was shard for her but that it got better. Kira was happy when Trent became good again and jioned the team. She was given the opertunity to do a music video by a producer but decides to do it on her own because the producer was trying to changer her. Kira was reluctant to make firends with Cassidy when Ethan asked her to. She used her job as an intern to help get Cassidy a job at a TV Station. Cassidy thanked here for the opertunity. Kira gave was able to temporally giver he powers up to help Conner become the Trassic Ranger. She was happy to see Dr. Oliver restored to normal. She was shocked to leanr Esla and Randal's true identiy. She didn;t like that Trent had lied to the Ranger bust seemed to undertstand his piont of view. Kira jioned the team in the assault on Mesgog's Isand. The Island was distoryed. Kira helped the team defeat the ZelZord. She helped Oliver distory Zeltrax. In one final battle against Mesogog Kira surrendered her power to defeat Mesogog for good. She sang at the prom and prepared for a normal life.

Ethan only really cared about video games and computers. He really is a genius when it comes to that kind of stuff Once he found the blue gem and became the Blue Dino Ranger he finally had to focus on the real world. The blue gem gave Ethan the power to use video game like strength. Oliver's morpher allowed him to morph into a Ranger. Ethan bonded with the Tricera Dino zord. Ethan is an excellent foil to the jock ways of Conner. The two often have arguments full of witty dialogue Ethan introduced his new Ranger friends to the cyber cafe and its owner Hayley ( who later became a powerful ally). Ethan's love of video games got him in big trouble when one of Mesagog's monsters trapped him in one. Luckily he was able to escape. When the white ranger showed up Ethan scrambled to help his friend fight the evil ranger. When he found out his good friend, Trent was the evil Ranger he quickly felt Trent betrayed him. Ethan found more power by finding his super Dino mode. Ethan was tormented by a Bully but used his brain to help the soccer playing Bully improve his game. This made the Bully respect him. Ethan accepted Trent into the team when he became good. Ethan was able to help Conner become the Trassic Ranger. Ethan made firends with Cassidy and tried to date her. The relationship didn't work out when the two realized they had nothing in common. They decided to stay friends.   Ethan was happy when Dr.Oliver was restored to normal . Ethan  was confident when the annual video game contest came around.  He was troubled to see Devin beat him in the finals.  Ethan was distressed when Randal took a prized card in his card game collection. He was shocked to learn Randal was Elsa. He helped the team defeat the monster Elsa created from the card. Ethan found out Mercer was Mesogog's alter ego and was mad Trent lied to him. He was able to forgive Trent after hearing his side of things. Ethan helped the Rangers distory Mesogog's powerful weapon. This caused the villian's island to explode. He helped his friends defeat the Zelzord. In a final battle with Mesogog Ethan surrendered all of his power to defeat the evil villian.

Trent was a new kid who meant the Rangers when he started a job at Haley's Cyber Cafe. He was also in Dr. Oliver's paleontology class. He became quick friends with the Rangers, particularly Kira.  Trent is the adopted son of Oliver's estranged colleague Dr. Anton Mercer. Trent's parents died while working for Dr. Mercer. The Doctor took Trent in as his own. Trent loved his dad but often got into arguments with him regarding Trent's ability to draw . Mercer thought that was beneath his son who was supposed to take over his business Mercer felt it was beneath Trent to be a waiter at the cyber cafe so he tried to buy the place for Trent to run. Trent helped the Rangers foil his dad's bid to buy the place, so Hayley could keep her restaurant. Trent began to see some really weird things around his father's office. He found an invisi-portal  which really freaked him out. Mercer was very vague about everything when Trent approached him. Trent found a portal to Mesagog's lair and found the white Dino gem. The gem slowly began to take him over, turning him into the evil White Ranger. The White Ranger became a powerful adversary to the Rangers. Mesagog tried to convince him to join with him. But the evil Ranger preferred to work on his own. The white ranger temporarily trapped Dr. Oliver in amber ( the Rangers were able to free him). Trent revealed his predicament to Kira who tried to help him. Trent tried to run far away from the rangers so he wouldn't hurt anyone when the Dino gem fully took him over. A meteor changed Trent's fortunes and made the White power good. But once the meteor's effects were over the White power not only was evil but fully overtook Trent as well. The now evil Trent gained the power of  camouflage Trent has the power of the White Dragozord and has stolen many of the rangers zords. He can use the Megazord to form with the Dragozord (to form his own Megazord). Trent made  a temporary deal with Mesagog to trick the rangers into thinking he was free of the spell. He used this plan to get to the Rangers' zords. Trent found out that his father was in fact Mesagog. When he tried to conspire with Zeltrax to overthrow Mesagog in exchange for Oliver's defeat Mesagog caught him in the act (Zeltrax told Mesagog about his plan). Trent professed his loyalty to his father and jioned his armies. He beat Zeltrax in a battle to settle who was second in command. That didn't last long as Mesagog found out that Trent messed up his lab. At the same time Trent found out that his father Anton didn/t want what Mesagog (his unwilling alter ego) wanted. When Mesogog had Trent captured a freak accident returned Trent to his normal self.  Trent jioned up wth the other rangers. Zeltrax was able to clone an evil double of him however. Trent faces a little distrust from his former teammates but tried to do his best to show he was good again. He went back to work for Hayley and helped retrieve the Trassic Sheild.  Trent was happy to see Dr. Oliver restored to normal. Trent continued to worry about his father and hoped he would find away to free himself of Mesagog. Trent realizied his powers were acting stange.  Trent was forced to battle his evil clone since the morphing grid could only support one ranger. Trent was victorious and was able to help his friends defeat one of Mesogog's monsters that day. Trent continued to worry about his dad and was tempted to tell the Rangers of his Secret.  Trent met an comic book artist he admired. When Mesgog used the artist's talent against the Ranger Trent was able to draw a happy ending. He also recieved his father's acceptance to be an artist. Trent risked his life in an attempt to retrieve Ethan's card from Elsa. He failed do so before she turned it into a monster.  This caused the Rangers to question what Trent was hiding. After the monster was defeated  the Rangers discovered Mercer's problem. They were mad Trent lied to him the whole time. Trent explained that Mercer was the only father he had and he was only trying to protect him. Trent saved Conner in battle and proved his loyalty to the team. When Trent discovered his father was not split from Mesogog he devised a plan to pretend to turn the gems into Mesogog in order to save his father and allow the Rangers entrance to the villian's Island( they needed to destroy his new weapon). The plan backfired a bit but the mission was accomplished. Trent retieved the Dino Gems from his dad , escaping the Island before its disturction. Trent helped his friends defeat Zelzord and surrendeed all his power to defeat Mesogog. Trent planned to attend Art School in the fall.

When Trent became good again and jioned with the other rangers Zeltrax took immidiate action. He took parts from a destoryed copying monster to make an evil clone of the white ranger. He had all the White Rangers Powers but was without any of Trent's personality or goodness. He was  loyal to Mesagog and will no doubt stop at nothing to destory the power rangers. The evil White Ranger also had control of Trent's zords. Zeltrax used the White Rangers power to create an evil monster. The monster was very powerful but was still defeated.  Evil White Ranger lost a battle to Conner and his Trassive powers. Evil white  Ranger monster was once again recreated. But it was defeated onve again. Evil White Ranegr tried to convince Zeltrax to return  to Mesagog after he defected. Evil White Ranger learned his powers were acting up. There could be ony one White Ranger. Evil White Ranger lost control of his zords to the other Rangers.  He was distoryed by Trent in a battle to see who would survive. 

Cassidy Cornall

Cassidy wass the shallow and noisy reporter for the school news station. She was always trying to get to the bottom of the latest stories. She is always trying some crazy scheme to become famous. She  embarked on a quest to find the identity of the white Ranger, so she can get a real news job. She was often mean to her friend Devin but she is really good friends with him. A Copying mosnter made Ffour copys of Cassidy. This only lasted for awhile yet still confused Devin. Cassidy met Ethan on a blind date, due to a online dating service. The two tried to become a couple. Kira got Cassidy a job at the news station she interned at. Cassidy finally got the news job she had always wanted. She decided to just be firends with Ehtan since the two didn't really have anything in common.  Cassidy continued to try and get all the news scoops she could possibly get. She was lost without Devin. In the end Cassidy finally learned the Ranger's idenity. She gave all evidence to the Rangers so she wouldn't hurt her friends. Cassidy went to the Prom with Devin.

Devin was Cassidy's cameraman. He was good friends with Cassidy and had feelings for her. Devin is a really decent guy, despite his association with the uptight Cassidy. he is loyal to a fault to his friend. Devin once impressed a  television star. The actor invited him to make a cameo on her show. Devin got footage of the White Ranger's identity but was knocked out while filming it. Later when he got the tape he found out his sister taped over the video with scenes of her having a baby. Later Devin got an internship with a tv station. He didn't like it at first but it turned out okay. He became confused when Cassidy was cloned into four forms. Luckly she was restored to normal. Devin tgot a job at a news station when Cassidy was hired as reporter. He refused to help Cassidy tell a false story about the Power Rangers givning up. Cassidy took his advice and told the truth. Devin took a break from helping Cassidy to beat Ethan in a video game contest. Cassidy was lost without him. Devin wanted to ask Cassidy to the Prom but learned them needed to  find the idenities of the Power Rangers or they would lose their jobs. Devin discovered the Rangers idenities.  He let Cassidy turn in the tape to the Rangers since it was the right thing to do. Devin went with Cassidy to the prom.

Haley ran her own cyber cafe. Ethan introduced the Rangers to her place. Haley supposedly knew everything there was to know, according to Ethan. The Rangers soon found out she was Dr. Oliver's partner. She helped design their Ranger technology ( namely their morphers). Hayley  became a big asset to the Rangers. She often ran things from Dino Ops when the rangers were gone. She performd all the maintenance to the Rangers' machinery when it goes down. She was Trent's boss and friend, before he became the evil White Ranger. Once Trent left her as an employee she had her hands full. Luckly Trent has rejioned her work force and she can focus more on her tech duties. Hayley helped Conner leanr to use the Mesadon Rover. She contructed a hover cycle for Ethan. She helped Tommy return to normal. Hayley was always there  to help the Rangers with her technology mastery. When the Rangers entered Mesogog' island Hayley Pioleted the Mobile Assualt Vichule. She used it to destory Mesogog's weapon ( starting a chain reaction to distory Mesogog's base). Hayley was glad to see the Rangers defeat the forces of evil and celebrated with them at the prom.   

Mercer was a  brilliant and rich scientist who worked with Dr. Oliver on the experimentation of dinosaur DNA. During their work together Mercer did secret Dinosuar DNA experiments on himself. Therse experiments transformed him into the evil Mesogog. Mesogog is determined to bring the world back into its prehistoric glory. Mercer does not agree with his alter ego and does everything he can to stop him.  Mesagog took Oliver's work and used it to create his evil army. Now years have passed and Mesogog has resurfaced. He seeks the Dino gems to help create a prehistoric utopia. He will stop at nothing to get the gems from the Power Rangers. But the Dino Thunder Rangers have provided a constant menace to him and his plans. Mercer also resurfaced in his human form after Dr. Oliver presumed him dead all these years. Mercer seems to not want to have anything to do with Dr. Oliver and has brushed him off. Mercer is Trent's father. He took Trent in when his parents died while working with him. He is a very strict yet loving father. He despises Trent's obsession with drawing. Mesogog planed to use the White Dino gem against the Rangers. But Trent unwittingly became bonded with its powers. When Trent became the evil White Ranger his relationship with Mercer was strained.  Mercer took over for Dr. Oliver's classes when Oliver became stuck in his morphed form.  He is trying to find away to free himself from his Mesogog alter ego. When Trent jioned up with Mesogog Anton made it clear to Trent that he wanted him to be good. When Mesagog tried to punish Trent for his betrayal, Anton remerged and saved his son. Trent became free of the evil power in the proccess. Mercer continued to try find away to get rid of Mesogog. He didn't want Trent to tell the Rangers an felt he could eventually handle the situation. Mercer ended his teaching duties when Oliver was able to return to his class. He now knows that Mesagog must be dealt with soon.  Mesogog lost Zeltax and was adament that he had to be destoyed. Mesogog knew he needed to  get rid of Mercer soon.  Mercer became very desparate himself to get rid of Mercer. After being bretrayed by Elsa his secret was let out to the Rangers. Mesagog came down hard on Elsa but Found away to split himself from Mercer entirly. Trent was able to rescue Mercer as the Rangers destoryed his weapon ( weapon had the power to turn humans into dinosuar mutants). Mesogog survived and used the energy he absorbed from the dino gems to obtain a more powerful form. The Rangers used all the powers in their gems to distory the villian. Mercer celebrated with the Rangers at the prom. He approved Trent's descion to go to Art School in the fall.

Elsa is one of  Mesogog's main servants. She is very loyal to her master. She loves to insult and torment her enemies Elsa is Principal Randal. As Principal Randal, Elsa has shown that she doesn't like kids. She gave the Rangers a hard time on their first day of classes. She has tried to get close to Dr. Oliver in order to find a way to defeat him for Mesogog.  She tried to trick the Rangers with a false Dino egg and unleashed the Stegazord on the city. The Rangers were able to reprogram the zord to their side. Elsa gave herself a new look. When Zeltrax left Mesogog's forces Elsa became his  main general. She continued to come up with evil plans to take down the Rangers. Mesgog began to grow weary of her constant failures. Randal  took a card from Ethan since it was against school rules to play cards. Oliver went to talk to her about given the card as Randal morphed into Elsa. Her identiy revealed Elsa fleed the scene and turned the card into a monster. The monster was defeated and Mesogog was not pleased. Elsa planeted the card on Merce in an attempt to force him to reveal his idenity (fearful Mesogog would get rid of her if she didn't strike at him first). The plan worked but Mesogog punished Elsa for the betrayal. Elsa tried to regain Mesogog's good graces but only ended up being used as enegy for Mesogog new device. This caused Elsa to revert to her civilian form. The Rangers found her and she rememebred all the evil she had done. She told the Rangers Mesogog had her under his control during that time. Zeltrax distoryed the Rangers lab and took Elsa hostage. The Rangers were able to save her. With all the evil defeated Elsa celebrated with the Rangers at the Prom.

Zeltrax wasanother one of Mesagog's main warriors He was very loyal to his master and would stop at nothing to please him. He seemed to have a vendetta against Dr. Oliver. He was attracted to Elsa. Zeltrax always challenged Oliver but was always badly beaten in the end. He once created a clone of himself called Golden Rod. Golden Rod was eventually defeated by the Rangers. Eventually Zeltrax revealed that he was actuallty one of Oliver's old rivals (named Terrance Smith). Tommy got the job with Anton Mercer over him. After a lab accident Smitty was rebulit into Zeltrax by Mesagog . Zeltrax turned Trent in when he tried o overthrow Mesagog. Trent jioned Mesagog's armies and continues to annoy Zeltrax. Zeltrax lost a battle to him ( a battle that decided who was to be second in command to Mesagog). Later was quick to piont out when Trent bretayed his master. When Trent became good and jioned the other rangers Zelrax made a evil clone of him. Zeltrax also made a monster from the evil clone but saw it distroyed. He tried using a powerful flying machine and centepede robot against the Rangers, The Rangers foiled his plans and Olvie rejioned him in a clamatic battle. Oliver destoyed Zeltrax in the proccess. Zeltrac actually surviived and his nector from a powerful tree to upgrade his form. Conner used his new mega battle to defeat Zeltrax. Zeltrax reverted to his old form refusing to rejion with Mesogog. Mesogog wanted his old general distoryed.  Zeltrax returned yet again (with a new power up), taking the civilan Elsa prisoner. the Rangers saved Elsa but Zeltrax followed them back to base. While they were gone on a mission Zeltrax distoryed their lab and took Elsa hostage. The Rangers faced his new Zelzord. Oliver and Kira saved Elsa from Zeltrax. The Rangers self distructed the Mezadon Megazord and Thundersuarus Megazord to destory Zelzord. Kira and Tommy than finished Zeltrax for good.

The Tyranodrones are Mesagog's foot soldiers. They were created by Oliver and Mercer. When Mercer became Mesagog he reprogrammed them for evil. They are assumed destoryed now.

Triptoids are additional foot soldiers of Mesagog. They were originally characters in a game Ethan got stuck in with Kira. When the two were freed the Triptiods followed them. Zeltrax recruited them for Mesogog. When Zeltrax went on his own the Triptiods worked for him. They are assumed distoryed now.
